gotmehouse
Nov 19
Today is sunday. Why it is so important to me? Not because of I can stay with my son, JJ, but it is a day with many open-house.
So, very early in the morning, we prepared ourselves to be ready to go out with our agent (although we didn't officially sign any contract with her). We waited and waited, it was approaching the appointment time, she didn't call us. "Probably we jsut go there and meet here at the location", I said to my wife. JJ had become very impatient after he finished 2 episodes of elmo, "Daddy, let's go! Mammy, wear your shoes". Although he is only 2 years old, amazingly he wants to go out to play like a teenager.
In the last minute, our agent called, and told us the owner is very sick, and we have to cancel the appointment. A little bit disappointed. But what can we do with that?
I went to my computer to check my emails, and found another agent we met the day before wrote me an email. I called her and she gave me a list of properties. I birdviewed them on live local, they are close by. So, I decided to go and have a look.
We set up an appointment at 3:00PM, but the agent decided not to go with me. I was wondering whether I look like a serious buyer. Anyway, I decided to go there by ourselves. That property isn't what we want and it is very close to the highway, noisy and dangerous to JJ.
When we drove back, we found some other properties were open-houses, so we went inside to take a look, they come out very interesting properties, and the price is within our price range. I don't understand why that agent doesn't show us those properties. Probably she wants to show us those bad ones first, then when the good ones come out, we'll jump in and place an order instantly.
Anyway, it is a disappointed day, but comes out not that disappointing.
